Jobsites

Bringing the Brand to Life in the Field

Every jobsite represents who we are — how we work, how we show up, and the pride we take in
what we build. Clear, consistent branding across project offices, signage, fleet, and PPE helps reinforce professionalism, safety, and belonging on every site. While each project is unique, the way we represent the company should always feel familiar. From trailers to trucks, and hard hats to hoists, every touchpoint on a jobsite is a visual representation of how the brand is seen and experienced — by clients, partners, and our own teams. Many resources provide guidance and resources to help teams apply the brand correctly in field environments.

Brand Touchpoints in the Field

Jobsite Office Graphics & Branding

Project trailers and offices should feel like an extension of our permanent workplaces — functional, professional, and reflective of the company’s identity.
Whether temporary or permanent, office graphics and branding consistency is key.

  • The exteriors of all McCarthy jobsite trailers, buildings and offices are required to feature an approved company logo for identification, wayfinding and brand recognition. Proper trailer signage can be found on Webdam, our digital asset management system.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Communications for approved logo use, color palettes, and environmental graphics.
  • Use branded signage and wall displays that share the project story, highlight safety performance, or celebrate team achievements.
  • Avoid custom or modified logos; the company brand should always be represented clearly and accurately.
  • See Project Graphics Catalog for examples.

Project Team Graphics

Teams often create visual identities to build camaraderie and celebrate project milestones. These designs can be creative but must remain distinct from official company logos.

  • Project Team Graphics are internal visual identifiers used for morale and recognition — not as logos.
  • Team graphics may be used on internal apparel, jobsite displays, signage or team communications within project offices, not external documents or marketing.
  • They should never appear in place of the company logo or imply a new entity.
  • Team graphics should be featured separately from any company logo.
  • Coordinate early with Marketing Communications for review and guidance.
Note that employees can find guidelines around team graphics on the Management System. (Link to come soon.)

Signage

Jobsite signage plays a dual role — communicating safety and reinforcing professionalism. Branded signs, banners, and environmental displays should always use approved colors, typography, and logos.

  • Be sure to explore pre-existing required and optional jobsite signage available on Webdam.
  • Prioritize clarity, safety messaging, and brand consistency. Messaging and visual hierarchy should prioritize: safety, brand integrity, partnership acknowledgement (if required by contract).
  • Keep language and imagery professional — no humor or internal slogans on external signage.
  • Select materials and finishes appropriate for the site and duration.
Reference the Management System for more detailed guidance around jobsite signage.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

PPE reflects our shared safety culture and commitment to quality.

  • Use only approved company logos and colors on hard hats, vests, and jackets.
  • Do not feature project team graphics
  • Limit personalization and avoid adding non-approved graphics or slogans.
  • Ensure all PPE meets or exceeds safety compliance requirements before branding.

Fleet & Equipment

Fleet and equipment serve as moving billboards for the brand. Clean, consistent application of the company logo helps project professionalism and reliability wherever we operate.

  • Apply appropriately sized company logos available on Webdam in approved areas consistently across all vehicles and equipment.
  • Avoid secondary decals, slogans, or unapproved imagery.
  • Consistency helps reinforce professionalism and accountability when seen by the public.
  • Keep equipment clean and signage in good condition.

Reference the Management System for more details regarding fleet and equipment standards.

Maintaining Consistency

Across all jobsites, consistency shows we know who we are. Each branded element — whether a banner, vehicle, or hard hat — communicates our standards and reinforces pride in our work.

Additional Considerations

  • Be sure to utilize approved typography, color palette, and photography style for jobsite graphics and branding.
  • For all co-branding with clients, partners, or joint ventures, please see Collaborations Guidelines.
  • Photography and media readiness – jobsites are high-visibility environments; having proper logo placement, clean signage, and consistent gear enhances media and recruitment photography.
  • Encourage reuse of signs, responsible material selection, and eco-friendly printing where possible.
  • Reference Marketing Communications or other relative contacts for approvals, templates, or custom requests.
